Housing Startup Apis Cor Raises $6M to Build Dozens of 3D Printers
In San Francisco, the Russian 3D printing startup Apis Cor – which can 3D-print a concrete house in 24 hours – has raised $6 million in venture capital. The company will use the funds to build dozens of 3D printers in 2018, hoping to capture a slice of the $68B global market for low-rise housing, of which 30 percent could eventually be 3D-printed.
