New York City’s lone real estate tech incubator MetaProp NYC has announced its 2016 accelerator class, and the construction tech startup onTarget is one of the participants.
onTarget is a visual analytics solution that aims to reduce the costs and schedule overruns that are endemic in construction. It integrates design, project management, document management, and real-time communication in the field into a single mobile interface for project teams, using visual project management tools, BIM models, and analytics software.
For example, teams can track cost and time to completion in real time, or connect elements within a BIM model to specific project management tasks. onTarget is currently being used on more than 30 projects, including New York’s Build-it-Back, Hurricane Sandy effort.
MetaProp will provide its 2016 class with between $50K and $250K in funding during a 22-week training program that includes mentorship from RENBY, Zillow, Millenium Partners, and RICS. The accelerator was founded in New York city with a 2015 class and to date has funded a number of real estate startups that you can learn about here.
